Join our team of enthusiastic volunteers who greet, inform, and provide help to customers at Just Fare Market.
Store Hours
- Hours: Wed-Fri 10:00-4:00, Sat 9:00-2:00.
- Sign up for days and times that work for you. Volunteer shifts normally are 2-4 hours.
- Could be opportunity to do marketing work virtually from your home.
Supervision: Works under the direction of the Store Manager, or an Experienced Volunteer.
Volunteer Qualities Needed
- Curious and interested in learning about Fair Trade
- Enjoy helping people with their shopping needs
- Accurate with basic math and money
- Good computer skills
- Responsible, reliable, and punctual
- Adhere to dress code & store policies
- Minimum age 15
Usual Duties
- Greet and talk with customers
- Transact sales using a computer
- Possible creative opportunities in art, design, demonstrating, photography, etc
- Help maintain stock and straighten displays, Vacuum, dust, and organize
Training
Volunteers are required to attend an orientation session and a computer training session.
