Altrusa Mobile Meals

Altrusa is a service league in Fond du Lac who meets community needs focussing on literacy. Altrusa began this program in 1970 to meet a need in the community. It continues to sponsor this program in a partnership with St. Agnes Hospital.

We are always in need of drivers. Doing even one route a month is helpful. From December through March some drivers are gone so those routes need to be filled during that time.

Pick up meals at the back of of St. Agnes Hospital, near the Ambulance entrance,  Monday through Friday at lunchtime (11:00 am). Deliver meals to an individual's  home or apartment.  Each route takes about 1 hour to deliver. 

Five routes each day cover the city of Fond du Lac and one route goes to North Fond du Lac, for a total of five routes per day. Meals are not delivered on holidays. If Fond du Lac district schools are closed, due to weather, there is no delivery.
