Bereavement Volunteers play a pivotal role in providing comfort and empathy to individuals who are navigating challenges of grief. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact to offer support to individuals coping with grief.
Responsibilities:
- Place calls to patients home 6 months after their loss
- Providing families with a listening ear, and validating feelings
- Share information about grieving process and provide resources available.
- Assist in support groups, one-on-one grief support, and phone calls.
We will accommodate your schedule and provide flexible hours. The Aurora at Home-Hospice provides flexible hands-on training.
