Volunteer: The Arc Fond du Lac Adult Day Services

Do you have a special talent you are interested in sharing with others? For example: gardening, cake decorating, creative writing, adaptive dance, culinary skill, etc.

The Arc Fond du Lac is looking for volunteers to custom design a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly skill building course, to teach adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Arc Fond du Lac is proud to offer the members we serve the opportunity to explore their inner talents and interest. Adult Day Services operates Monday - Friday 8am - 3pm; flexible scheduling available. Persons interested in this volunteer opportunity, or looking for more information, can contact Cassie Higgins chiggins@arcfdl.org or Stephanie Schulz sschulz@arcfdl.org or by calling (920) 923-3810.

All volunteers will need to complete a background check and volunteer application, through The Arc Fond du Lac. Background check forms and volunteer applications can be picked up at The Arc main office 500 N. Park Ave., Fond du Lac, WI 54935 or on The Arc Fond du Lac's website arcfdl.org

Volunteer: Youth Community Enrichment Program

Our Youth Community Enrichment Program (YCEP) provides year-round age-appropriate opportunities and special events for developmentally disabled children as young as age 5. Through YCEP, children can socialize and interact with peers, experience spending time away from home, and have more exposure to the community and area events.

The program also provides a chance for the parents and other caregivers to have a break from the day-to-day responsibilities of caring for a child who has exceptional needs.

Volunteer application and background check must be completed, before starting any volunteer experience with The Arc Fond du Lac.
