Who We Are
Fond du Lac Literacy Services' mission is to develop local adults' reading, writing, speaking and math skills.
What We Do
FDL Literacy Services is a non-profit organization that offers confidential, one-on-one tutoring to develop local adults reading, writing, speaking, and math skills. Tutors spend one-two hours a week with learners helping them build the confidence and skills to become more proficient employees, citizens, and family members. Most tutoring takes place at the Fond du Lac Public Library. As learners build their literacy skills, they gain confidence to communicate with their child’s teacher, employer, and medical professionals. Many go on to obtain a better job, U.S. Citizenship or GED/HSED.
